So I watched last night's SPN episode with great anticipation. The beginning was great with Dean escaping from purgatory and then the rest of the episode left me puzzled.

What? Sam didn't try to find Dean when he disappeared? What?

Ahhhhh ... Show ... why do you do this to me?

Now I have to write a fic that explains this and I know it has to go way beyond just the fact that he hit a dog and met a hot vet.

Yeah, the fact that he didn't look for him AT ALL is pretty unbelievable. They could have had him move on to a normal life AFTER he exhausted all avenues to find out where Dean was/get him back. But *shrug* he's gone is pretty damn ridiculous. We better get a better back story than THAT.

I'm seriously considering going back to my previous policy of DVR'ing and then watching the season all at once after the finale. I did that with The Walking Dead, True Blood, & Game of Thrones this year and it was AWESOME!! It's like total immersion and you don't have to get all bent-out-of-shape while you wait for a new ep. Not sure if I'd make it though. Last year, I managed to make it about halfway through the season. Yeah, I'm strange.

Yeah, I thought it was WAY out of character that Sam didn't look. I kept hoping that some sort of breakdown would be revealed, like Sam didn't look 'cause he couldn't handle it... I guess I'm still hoping for something like that, or at least some other satisfactory explanation. There must be some underlying reason why Sam didn't try to find Dean. I can't accept what the episode seemed to be trying to say, that Sam just didn't care enough.

I agree that you have to write fic!
